New task

I was looking through my blog and was reminded that I had not finished my sock as it was missing its pair.
New task...after I've finished my puff stitch scarf (hopefully today) I'll finish my sock.

Same design different colour

I decided to do another scarf, just for the purpose of crocheting. Its crazy really, I have other projects that I've not completed but here I am starting new ones. Oh well...I started this project yesterday evening, and the only time I stopped was to sleep. I've nearly finished this now.
I'm using another type of wool instead of "chunky" which I found in a local shop. It doesn't say a specific size, I just had to judge it for myself. The label reads "Luxury Aran by Sheena Anne".
Again I'm using 8mm crochet hook.

A quick note, the puff stitch takes up a lot of wool. I suggest buying a couple of wool.

A thinner scarf

I decided to make another scarf, with all the "chunky" wool I had left over. However this time I made the scarf thinner, so that it could fit around my neck comfortably. I think it looks too thin personally. I've never seen a scarf in stores this size. But anyway I'm wearing it, and it feels so cozy.
I used a 8mm crochet hook to create this scarf.
The quality of this photo isn't good, I'm tempted to change it.

I'm really behind on my knitting...but here it is!

O.k...It has taken me a bit longer than I thought to finish my scarf. I've been really busy.
But here it finally is.

However I'm not happy with this scarf, Its too thick around my neck. I think the problem with this one was when I brought the "chunky" wool instead of my usual type, I never considered that there would be a complete difference. They felt the same. My wool is much more softer whereas this wool is hard, so it doesn't rest smoothly around my neck, If that makes sense.
I think the only time I will be using this scarf is if there is a blizzard.

Usually by now I would have finished my puffin stitch scarf. However the place where I get my wool has ran out of the particular one that I use. So it looks like this project has to go on hold for a while.

Winters coming

It has been getting really cold recently, so I've decided to crochet myself a winter scarf instead of buying one. The design that I have decided to use is the puff stitch. I've only just started so this is the beginning stages. The crochet hook size that I am using is 8mm.

Knitted ribbed stitch

Another project that I'm doing. This one however is taking me long to complete as I haven't been working on it much. The size needles that I am using is 10mm.

Tunisian/Afghan Stitch Blanket 2

This is a current project that I am working on. I am swapping between two colours to create another baby size blanket. The afghan hook size that I am using is 6.5mm.

Knitted Socks

I have not finished this project as I have only knitted one pair of these socks. The size of the double pointed needle that I am using is 6.5mm.

Puff Stitch

This is my favourite scarf pattern that I have done so far. The size hook that was used was 8.mm.

Crocheted Cake

I crocheted this cake with 4.mm sized hook.

Knitted Donut

As part of my art work, I decided to knit food to go along with my images. Its all to do with reality and awareness of strange objects. Refer to my clown images to see the knitted food.
I used 4.mm double pointed needles to create the donuts.

Puff Stitch

4.00mm sized crochet needle

Shell stitch

This is a pattern that I was trying out. I like it however I'm not sure if it works well for a scarf pattern as it is too stiff to wrap around the neck.
